It’s an exciting time for two local Under 14s and Under 16s teams at Torquay Tigers Football Club as they have reached the milestone of a Grand Final – every football team’s dream. After a year of teamwork, some hard won clashes, a few bruises and bumps and the support of a fantastic band of parents, both teams are preparing for their final game this weekend.
Come along and support our boys – the Under 14s play Portarlington at Grovedale Secondary College on Sunday at 1.20pm and the Under 16s are playing St Mary’s 3 on Sunday at Burdoo Reserve at 8.15am.
As a sponsor of the local football club, at Champion Blinds we couldn’t be more proud than to have two of the junior teams reach this level. The Torquay Tigers junior football competition is strong with a huge number of young boys (and girls) beginning their football career in a fun, supportive and well organised environment.
While the aim of the game for the kids is to have fun and enjoy being part of the team, we can’t help but be thrilled these boys have reach the finals.
