Motorised Markilux awnings in Torquay
This installation of awnings in Torquay showcases how Champion Blinds can transform an outdoor entertaining area with practical, stylish shade solutions. Featuring a premium Markilux awning powered by Somfy motorisation, this project provides convenient sun protection while complementing the home’s existing outdoor structure.
Custom motorised awnings for a Torquay home
The homeowners wanted a flexible shading solution that would improve the comfort and usability of their outdoor entertaining space. With an existing pergola and timber decking, the area offered an excellent opportunity to incorporate a retractable awning without compromising its open, inviting design.
Champion Blinds installed a high-quality Markilux awning, carefully positioned to provide shade across the outdoor area. The sleek design integrates neatly with the existing structure, creating a streamlined finish that complements the home’s exterior.
The retractable design also provides flexibility, allowing the homeowners to enjoy additional shade when required or retract the awning to maximise natural light.
Effortless shade with Somfy motorisation
One of the standout features of this Torquay awning installation is its Somfy motorised operation.
Rather than manually extending or retracting the awning, the homeowners can adjust their outdoor shade at the touch of a button. This makes managing sunlight throughout the day considerably easier, particularly when entertaining guests or relaxing outdoors.
Somfy motorisation offers several practical benefits, including convenient operation, smooth movement and precise positioning. It also eliminates the need for manual winding, making the awning an accessible and user-friendly addition to the home.
For homeowners considering motorised awnings, this installation demonstrates how modern technology can make outdoor living more comfortable and convenient.
Improving outdoor living with Markilux awnings
A well-designed awning can significantly improve how an outdoor area is enjoyed, particularly during warmer months.
The Markilux awning installed at this Torquay property provides adjustable overhead shade, helping reduce direct sunlight and create a more comfortable environment beneath the pergola.
Its contemporary appearance also enhances the outdoor entertaining area’s overall presentation, while the retractable functionality allows the space to remain versatile throughout changing conditions.
By combining premium Markilux design with reliable Somfy motorisation, Champion Blinds has delivered a practical shading solution that balances appearance, comfort and everyday convenience.
